Today at 1200 hrs .we start a scenic drive from Jammu Airport towards Katra, Katra or Katra Vaishno Devi, as it is popularly known, is a small town in Reasi district in the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir, India, situated in the foothills of the Trikuta mountains, where the holy shrine of Vaishno Devi is located. In the evening arrive and Check into the hotel. Overnight stay will in Katra. You can also proceed to Mata Vaishnodevi shrine in the night
After Breakfast, proceed for Mata Vaishno Devi Bhawan - one of the most popular pilgrimage of India situated in the lap of Trikuta mountains across Katra town, at an altitude of around 5200 feet. Yatra involves a trek of nearly 14 Kms from base camp at Katra known as Ban Ganga. Alternate way to perform darshans is by battery operated cars, Ponies/Palkis/ Helicopter. If time permits, visit Ardhkuwari and Bhairo Temple, now you can go by ropeway from Vaishno Devi Bhavan to Bhairon temple. After visiting the temples, return back to the hotel in Katra and relax for an overnight stay
